Fibre reticulation for estates, apartment blocks and business parks

For developers, body corporates, ISPs and fibre network operators: route and duct design, reticulation, splicing, OTDR testing and as-builts for apartment blocks, estates and business parks — delivered as the installer behind your fibre partner, or end to end.

What is included

From the duct route to the resident's wall box

  • Desktop and site design: duct routes, splice points, distribution cabinets, risers and the per-unit drop
  • Reticulation: ducting, cable pulling, building entries, risers and unit drops
  • Splicing and termination at distribution points and in the unit
  • OTDR testing and certification per unit, with splice records
  • As-built drawings, enclosure photos and a hand-over pack for the ISP and the body corporate
  • Subscriber activations and a call-out arrangement for the ISP after hand-over
  • Active equipment builds where needed — FTTB OLT and ONT, switches, wireless links between blocks

Three ways we fit in

Developer, body corporate or network operator — the work is the same, the hand-over differs

Developers

Fibre-ready units from day one. We work to your fibre partner's specification, phase the build with construction, and hand over a pack that lets residents activate on move-in day.

Body corporates and estates

Retrofits planned around residents: external routes and risers first, unit drops by appointment, per-unit costing the trustees can take to a meeting.

ISPs and fibre network operators

Installation capacity when your own crews are full: reticulation, activations and call-outs, certified reports in your name, and we never approach your subscribers directly.

How it works

Site plan, design, build in phases

1

Share the site plan and unit count

We produce a desktop design and a per-unit quote with the shared infrastructure itemised separately, within a few working days of receiving the plan.

2

Survey and final design

A site visit confirms duct routes, entries, riser space and distribution-cabinet positions. For retrofits we walk the building with the managing agent.

3

Build, test, hand over

Reticulation in phases to match construction or occupancy, OTDR testing per unit, then the as-built pack and activation support for the ISP.

Track record

The physical layer that FTTX runs on

FCP has built and activated GPON and fibre-to-the-business access since 2018, and is the installer behind an internet service provider's estate and business-park work in the Helderberg — priority links, unit installs and call-outs. Our transport teams cut over metropolitan DWDM networks on live traffic. The same discipline — method statement before, test results during, as-builts after — applies to a forty-unit block.

Client names are shared on request and with the client's written consent.

Questions

Before you send the plan

Do you work with our existing ISP or fibre partner?

Yes. Most of our development work is as the installer behind an ISP or fibre network operator: we build to their specification, test to their standard and hand over the as-builts they need to activate units. If you do not have a partner yet, we can introduce one.

What do we get at hand-over?

OTDR test results per unit, splice records, labelled distribution points, as-built drawings and photos of every enclosure. It is the pack the ISP needs to activate residents and the body corporate needs for the next ten years of maintenance.

Can you retrofit an occupied building or estate?

Yes. Retrofits are planned around residents: external routes and risers first, unit drops by appointment, and a daily tidy-up. We survey the building before quoting so the duct routes and entries are known.

How is it quoted?

Per unit, from a desktop design based on your site plan and unit count, with the shared infrastructure (routes, distribution cabinets, risers) itemised separately. Phasing to match construction is included in the quote.
