Networks live and die at the physical layer. Our technicians are CFS MEGAnet certified; every point is tested and certified before we leave the site, and the cabinet is labelled to match the as-built drawing so fault-finding at 02:00 is painless.

Access

Fibre: FTTX, GPON and developments

Fibre to the home, the business and the precinct — planned, built and activated. We carry GPON and point-to-point fibre access from route survey and design through splicing, testing and subscriber activation, and we are the installer behind ISPs and fibre partners on estates and developments.

DWDM & optical transport

Transport is where FCP Group made its name. We build, extend, commission and cut over dense wavelength networks on Adtran platforms — the backbone capacity operators sell services on — including brownfield migrations from legacy SDH where the traffic cannot stop while the network changes underneath it. Our optical engineers hold current Adtran certifications on the FSP 3000 platform.

Our engineers deploy and integrate IP routing and switching on Cisco and Juniper, from metro aggregation and service-provider edge to enterprise and campus cores — staged in our workshop, installed on site and integrated without disrupting what already runs.

Connectivity

Wireless & OneWeb LEO satellite

Where fibre cannot reach, or where the business case demands an independent second path. FCP Group is an authorised OneWeb reseller, delivered through NEC XON, the OneWeb distributor for South Africa: we survey, mount, cable, activate and support the terminal and integrate it cleanly into the site network. Point-to-point wireless links carry the service between buildings.

Adtran's Mosaic One cloud platform gives us real-time monitoring, configuration backups and remote diagnostics for the networks we build. Tiers are set by access-point and switch count and by response time; every cabling, Wi-Fi and OneWeb quote carries the managed-service option.
